Last week, my next-door neighbor accidentally propelled a rock through the window of my floor-to-ceiling screen door glass while mowing his lawn. Since it was tempered glass, it broke into a million dime-sized pieces. When my son cleaned up the glass, he obviously couldn't get to all the pieces that landed under the bushes and now it looks like there are hundreds of 2 - 3 kt. diamonds sparkling under the front hedge. Which brings me to this question. Can fake diamonds be a girl's best friend?I stumbled across this video while researching my current health insurance nightmare.
I found it really, really funny until I realized that it's 100% accurate. Then, it made me start to cry. How on earth are those bastards allowed to get away with the bullshit that they pull? Where is the accountability?
I got my first aquarium for Christmas when I was either 9 or 10 and I've had at least one in my home ever since. This is a close up of one of our three plecostomuses (or maybe it's plecostomi, hell I don't know). Anyway, we've had probably 10 to 15 of them over the years and my kids still call each one of them Freddie. He's kinda creepy looking but he sure helps to keep the tank algae free.
